1 1/2 oz. blood orange infused vodka
1 1/2 oz. blueberry pomegranate juice
2 Tbsp. (30ml) blood orange puree*
1/2 oz. lemon juice
1/2 oz. simple syrup
Combine all ingredients into a shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with an orange peel.
*To make blood orange puree, peel, seed and chop 4 blood oranges. Place in a blender with 2 Tbsp. (30ml) simple syrup and 1 tsp (5ml) lemon juice. Puree until smooth. Taste an adjust lemon juice and simple syrup to find correct balance.
